Summary

Eric Rojas, PhD in Engineering with mention in Computer Science, whose research focuses on the area of Clinical Informatics since his PhD thesis on process mining in health in 2017.
He is also currently an academic at the Department of Clinical Laboratories of the Faculty of Medicine of the PUC and Leader of the Quality Area at the National Center on Health Information Systems.

His research area is Health Informatics.
His research focuses on the application of process mining techniques in the health area, which allow the study of both clinical and administrative processes that are supported by information systems.
He has special interest in processes associated with Emergency Rooms and patient care processes through the use of Telemedicine.

On the other hand, Professor Rojas also focuses on the development of Software Quality Assessments of Information Systems and technologies used in Healthcare, among these, Telemedicine tools and Electronic Clinical Records, which allow their better implementation for their use in the clinical processes of patient care.For more information about Dr. Rojas' research, please visit his website here .
