Francisco Sahli obtained his degree in Mechanical Civil Engineering and Master in Engineering Sciences from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2011.
Upon graduation he obtained the Mario Hiriart, Ismael Valdés Valdés Valdés awards and also the award for the best thesis of the mechanical engineering department.
In 2014 he obtained a Fulbright-CONICYT scholarship to pursue doctoral studies in the United States.
In 2018 he obtained his PhD in mechanical engineering at Stanford University.
After a postdoctoral stay at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, since 2019 he has been working as an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical and Metallurgical Engineering and the Institute of Biological and Medical Engineering at the same university.
